1. The service
Truebooks provides small-business accounting software: invoicing, expense tracking, banking tools, payroll and financial reporting. We may add, change or retire features over time.
2. Your data & your books
You own your workspace data. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter; the software maintains the ledger mathematically but does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
3. Accounts & seats
Keep your credentials confidential. Workspace owners control team seats and roles. We may suspend workspaces that abuse the service, breach these terms, or create security risk.
4. Plans & payment
Paid plans bill monthly in advance through Stripe and can be cancelled anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Free plans are subject to stated limits.
5. Availability
We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
